On May 17, the 8th Member Representative Conference and the 8th Board of Directors Meeting of the China Mechanical General Parts Industry Association were held in Chengdu. The winners of the "2023 China Mechanical General Parts Industry Association Technical Innovation Award" were announced at the meeting. Zhongda Chuangyuan's fully CNC spiral bevel gear dry cutting complete set of equipment won the "Special Award for Technological Innovation".
For a long time, the design and manufacturing of cycloidal bevel gears in China have heavily relied on imported technologies and equipment. There has been a lack of core technologies and equipment with independent intellectual property rights, and there have been key technical problems such as difficulty in adjusting the fully conjugate tooth surface contact area, difficulty in controlling processing accuracy and consistency, and difficulty in achieving high-precision and high-efficiency closed-loop manufacturing.
In 2012, the research and development of Zhongda Chuangyuan's fully CNC spiral bevel gear dry cutting complete set of equipment achieved, for the first time domestically, a closed-loop system of theory and manufacturing for cycloidal gear theoretical design, calculation, processing, analysis, and the knife sharpening and measurement units , completing a comprehensive domestic breakthrough in cycloidal gear dry cutting. It was appraised as "overall technology reaching the internationally advanced level, with some technologies at the internationally leading level". Its dry cutting processing accuracy is stable within grade 5, and the production efficiency of a single dry cutting line is equivalent to that of 5 production lines of traditional wet cutting equipment, achieving high-precision, high-efficiency, and green manufacturing. Currently, Zhongda Chuangyuan has become the only company in China that has truly achieved a closed-loop system of theory and manufacturing for two types of bevel gear tooth systems , and its dry cutting complete set of equipment has the highest market share in China, exceeding 90%. Its performance and stability have been tested by the market for a long time and are maturely applied in industries such as automobiles, reducers, robots, and engineering machinery, truly achieving import substitution.
It is worth mentioning that Zhongda Chuangyuan's fully CNC spiral bevel gear dry cutting complete set of equipment has won the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Manufacturing Single Champion Product ", and this time it has again won the "Special Award for Technological Innovation" from the China Mechanical General Parts Industry Association, fully demonstrating Zhongda Chuangyuan's innovation capabilities and technological strength.
