During the 14th China CNC Machine Tool Exhibition (CCMT2026), Hunan ZDCY CNC Equipment Co., Ltd. made a striking appearance, with its independently developed H30D dual-station CNC worm-wheel grinding machine earning the prestigious “Spring Swallow Award” thanks to its robust in-house R&D capabilities and outstanding market performance.

Xie Nianzhou stated that the Chunyan Award holds significant importance for the development of China’s domestic machine tool and tooling industry: first, it helps domestic enterprises build confidence and break the entrenched reliance of high-end users on imported brands; second, it encourages companies to continuously pursue technological innovation, driving the iterative advancement of their independently developed products toward higher precision and greater reliability; and third, it promotes industry-wide progress, enabling Chinese-made machine tools to move from being “usable” to being “easy to use, preferred, and trusted.”
Xie Nianzhou explained that ZDCY has currently achieved several technological breakthroughs: First, the deep integration of process and equipment—specifically in response to the “quietness” requirements for electric-drive gears in new-energy vehicles. The company has embedded grinding parameters, grinding-wheel selection, and online compensation strategies directly into the machine-tool software, effectively “pre-embedding the process” and shifting from “functional delivery” to “value delivery.” Second, the engineering implementation of precision consistency. Through “invisible investments” such as thermal-equilibrium design, overall machine rigidity, and secondary development of CNC systems, the company ensures that mass-production equipment achieves micron-level precision, with each individual machine delivering micron-level accuracy. Finally, the establishment of a closed-loop measurement system. By enabling real-time data exchange between the gear-measurement center and the gear-grinding machines, a “machining–inspection–compensation” closed loop is formed, significantly boosting first-pass yield. Xie Nianzhou believes that the CCMT 2026 exhibition, as a major industry event, not only provides companies with an excellent platform to showcase their latest achievements but, more importantly, facilitates face-to-face interactions with end-users.
